Items you will need:
- cake covered in yellow fondant
- 1 yellow fondant
- 2 brown fondant
- 1 white fondant
- 1 black fondant
- 2 thick toothpicks
- 2 skinny toothpicks
- cutting tool
- large circle cutter
- ball tool
Step 1
Roll out the yellow fondant, keeping it on the thicker side, and cut out two large football shapes.
Step 2
Pinch together one end of the football shapes to create the ears.
Step 3
Insert skinny toothpicks into the ears for support and attach them to the top of the cake.
Step 4
Unwrap one of the brown fondant packets and use your hands to sculpt the two ossicorns (little giraffe horns). Insert the thick toothpicks in the ossicorns for support and attach them to the top of the cake, in-between the ears.
Step 5
Use your hands to roll two pieces of black fondant into ovals and attach them to the cake to form the eyes.
Step 6
Use your hands to roll two very tiny pieces of white fondant into small balls and attach them to the eyes to form the twinkle.
Step 7
Roll two small balls of yellow fondant into small ropes. Curve the ropes and attach to the cake, above the eyes to form the eyebrows.
Step 8
Combine the remaining white fondant and a portion of the brown fondant and knead together until they form a light brown color.
Step 9
Roll out the light brown fondant and cut out a circle using the large circle cutter.
Step 10
Use the ball tool to indent two nostrils and use the cutting tool to gently indent a smiling mouth. Attach to the cake below the eyes.
Step 11
Roll out the remaining brown fondant and use the cutting tool to cut out the giraffe spots in all different shapes and sizes. Attach all around the cake.
