Items you will need:
- cake covered in light blue fondant
- 1 white fondant
- 1 black fondant
- 1 pink fondant
- 1 blue fondant
- 1 light blue fondant
- pizza cutter
- small circle cutter
- coffee stirrer
- 2 thick toothpicks
Roll out the blue fondant into a very long rectangle. Use the pizza cutter to cut a very long strip.
Use the small circle cutter to cut half circles into the top of the strip. This will form the wave pattern.
Attach the wave around the base of the cake.
Divide the packet of light blue fondant in half. Use your hands to roll each piece into a ball and taper one end to create a tear drop shape.
Gently flatter each tear drop shape to form the fins.
Insert the thick toothpicks into the fins for support then attach to the sides of the cake.
Use your hands to roll two even pieces of black fondant into small balls. Flatten them out to form the eyes.
Use your hands to roll two tiny pieces of white fondant into balls. Attach to the eyes to form the eye sparkle.
Use your hands to roll two small balls of black fondant into small ropes, tapering the ends. Attach to the tops of the eyes to create eye lashes.
Roll another small ball of black fondant into a rope and curve it into a ‘U’ shape for the smile.
Use your hands to roll out the white fondant into a long rope. Coil the rope to form the shape of the horn. Insert the coffee stirrer into the horn for support. Attach the horn to the top center of the cake.
Use your hands to roll four small balls of yellow fondant for the centers of the flowers and attach to the flowers.
