Items you will need:
- cake covered in white fondant
- 2 yellow fondant
- 2 red fondant
- 1 white fondant
- rolling pin
- pizza cutter
- “P” cutout
- “O” cutout
Step 1
Roll out the red fondant and cut out 2 P’s and 1 O.
Step 2
Attach the word “POP” to the side of the cake.
Step 3
Roll out the remaining red fondant. Use the pizza cutter to cut several strips of red fondant and attach around the side of the cake.
Step 4
Combine the white fondant with 1 yellow fondant. Knead together until they form a lighter yellow.
Step 5
Use your hands to roll a piece of yellow fondant into a small ball.
Step 6
Roll 2 smaller balls of yellow and attach them to the first ball to form popcorn. Repeat this process until all the yellow is gone.
Step 7
Attach the popcorn pieces to the top of the cake. You can also place a few pieces around the base of the cake to give the illusion that they fell out of the bucket.
