Items you will need:
- cake covered in blue and light blue swirled fondant
- 1 pink fondant
- 1 yellow fondant
- 1 green buttercream
- 1 white buttercream
- graham cracker crumbs (sand)
- white pearls (bubbles)
- sugar fish
- 1 popsicle stick
- 2 piping bags
- scissors
- seashell mold
Step 1
Use a popsicle stick to stir up the green buttercream and place into a piping bag.
Step 2
Cut the end of the piping bag into a small point to create a leaf tip.
Step 3
Squeeze the buttercream from the base of the cake to the middle while wiggling your hand from side to side. This will form the seaweed. Repeat this step around the side of the cake.
Step 4
Unwrap the pink and yellow fondant. Cut each color in half. Combine one half of pink and one half of yellow to form orange. Knead each color separately to soften.
Step 5
Use the seashell mold to make a variety of pink, yellow and orange shells.
Step 6
Stir up the white buttercream and place it into a piping bag.
Step 7
Use the white buttercream to glue the sugar fish to the sides of the cake.
Step 8
Pipe small bubbles coming from the fish.
Step 9
If you would like, you can add graham cracker around the base as sand or attach the white pearls to the sides of the cake to form 3D bubbles!
